What happened to BMW… they used to be light weight, have the best steering and ride handling balance available. And now they are just overweigh, big engined behemoths. Except the new i8 we love the new i8. Whats needed is this 3 series concept that takes all of the greatness from the i8 and brings it to the masses in a new 3 series. Please BMW build our new 3!
The new Mustang includes a line lock feature that lets you do burn outs while staying in place… call it burn outs for idiots… or whatever you like… but we love it!
Ford’s performance division is on a roll. First the unveiling of the new GT supercar, and NOW the “most track-capable production Mustang” to date… the new GT350R!.
The GT350R offers several upgrades over the standard Mustang. There are lightweight carbon-fibre wheels (the first manufacturer to offer this as standard equipment), 19×11-inch wheels at the front and 19×11,5-inch at the rear. Several items have been removed in pursuit of making the car lighter. These include the air conditioning system, rear seats, trunk floorboard and carpet, backup camera and emergency tire sealer and inflator.
Ventilation and aerodynamic improvements include bonnet vents, underbody belly pans, rear diffuser, vented wheel wells, fender vents and side skirts. Up front there is also a new splitter and at the rear a carbon-fibre wing.
The engine is the 5.2-liter V8, flat-plane crankshaft… the most powerful naturally-aspirated production Ford engine to date. With more than 500 horses and maximum torque somewhere north of 400 lb-ft and an indicated redline of a staggering 8200 rpm, it’s certainly a Ford engine unlike any other.
No this driver is not testing the new AWD M4 … he’s just and idiot! and a lucky one at that. The driver tries to take off while leaving a car meet and the power gets the best of him. The M4 takes a hard left turn and the rest you’ll just have to watch and see. Just know that the car gets completely air borne! Pretty sad to see such a new and nice car get tossed around like this. We can only guess that the wheels and bumpers are pretty destroyed on that poor car. As we’ve said again and again, money can’t buy driving skills! Hopefully it can buy him some new M4 parts though!
